Non la review che aspettavamo ma foto fantastiche e due video, per ora, che mostrano quanto il concerto che Josep Carreras ha offerto alla Crocus City Hall di Mosca lo scorso venerdì 14 Marzo, sia stato un autentico successo: accompagnato dal soprano Nataliya Kovalova e dalla Crocus City Hall Symphony Orchestra diretta da David Giménez, con la sua sensibilità interpretativa ha conquistato ancora una volta pubblico russo.

A giudicare dai compositori menzionati da questo breve articolo, presumo che il programma sia stato analogo a quello proposto a Manama della settimana precedente: l'Orchestra si è cimentata con Verdi e Bizet, rispettivamente con l'Ouverture di Nabucco e la Farandole de l'Arlésienne Suite, mentre il nome di Albéniz suggerisce l'interpretazione del tenore del celebre brano El eco de tu voz.
Per ora possiamo ascoltare solamente The Impossible Dream, che immagino abbia chiuso la prima parte del programma ufficiale, e Chitarra Romana che quasi sicuramente è stato offerto come primo encore. Come noterete, la voce del nostro tenore appare in forma splendida, ha un'energia incredibile. Del resto, con una nuova opera prevista il mese prossimo, non potrebbe essere altrimenti.
Ecco invece il video della performance di Josep allo stadio olimpico Fisht durante la cerimonia di chiusura delle Paralimpiadi invernali di Sochi 2014. Grazie mille all'utente che lo ha condiviso su You Tube.
Vestito di bianco, il tenore si è esibito insieme alla cantante non vedente Diana Gurtskaya e il soprano Nafset Chenib garantendo il gran finale di una cerimonia straordinaria, prima che si spegnesse il fuoco del braciere e la bandiera russa lasciasse il posto a quella coreana, per la prossime Paralimpiadi del 2018.

Carreras aveva affermato che sarebbe stato un grande onore per lui esibirsi in occasione dei Giochi Paralimpici, poiché progetti del genere gli consentono di fare qualcosa per gli atleti, normo dotati e con disabilità: per lui non sarebbe stata la prima volta, essendo stato già grande protagonista delle Olimpiadi e Paralimpiadi di Barcellona nel 1992.

Currently we can only listen to The Impossible Dream, which, I guess, closed the first part of the official program, and Chitarra Romana, which almost certainly was offered as the first encore. As you can notice, the voice of our tenor is in great shape, he shows an incredible energy. He sounds amazing!! However, with a new operatic debut scheduled for next month, it could not be otherwise. Dressed in white, the tenor performed with the blind singer Diana Gurtskaya and soprano Nafset Chenib, guaranteeing the grand finale of an extraordinary ceremony, before they extinguished the fire in the brazier and the Russian flag left the place to Korean, for the next Paralympics in 2018.
Carreras stated that it would be a great honor for him to perform at the Paralympic Games, as such projects allow him to do something for the athletes with disabilities: of course, this was not the first time, as he had been already protagonist of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Barcelona in 1992.
